I’ve been following a shamanic path for the last 30 years with an emphasis with working with the spirits of nature. I started studying with Michael Harner in the 1990’s. I ended up specializing in working with plant shamanism and weather shamanism.
In 1995, I was diagnosed with a debilitating illness. The medical treatment would be arduous. I wanted to address the root causes to this illness, so I time with spiritists in Brazil (a full body trance mediumship) and participating in ayahuasca ceremonies. From my experiences here, it became clear that I needed to go back and solid foundational training in shamanism
I completed a 3 year training program with Michelle McKinney in Seattle, and I went to be the instructor’s assistant and completely advanced studies. I’m learning the discipline, spiritual hygiene, how to set up a solid container, vetting, and developing better relationships with spirit helpers. I’ve gotten trained in soul retrieval, curse unraveling, thought form unraveling, depossession, extraction work, house and space clearing, ancestor work, mediumship, etc.
Have years of training in energy work through an offshoot of the Barbara Brennan school. I used to teach Reiki initiations. I see myself foremost as a healer as I had to untangle my own health problems.
i have worked in 3 health clinics specializing in auto immune and difficult to treat illnesses (Lyme, CFS, fybromyalgia etc.)
I’ve been one of the main organizers for the Fairy & Human Relations Congress (for the last 15 years), which is an event in the North Cascades which is organized around the question “How do we work with the spirits of nature”. This gathering goes very deep.
I’ve taught at both this event, at Plantz En Chant (which is where herbalism meets shamanism), NW Herbal Fair and at Breitenbush Hotsprings
I’ve taught shamanic navigation, lead plant ceremonies, taught weather shamanism and plant communication and have lead vision quests. I lead shamanic activism groups for healing trauma, psychopomp, working with weather.
